The extraordinary cinemagraphic story of the re-birth of the 18 ft Skiff class on an international level.

Considered by many as the fastest monohull sailboats in the world, The 18 ft Skiff has been a mainstay on Sydney Harbor starting in the early 1900's. These days however, the 18s have grown into super fast, ultra light weight carbon fiber sailing machines, somtimes reaching speeds of up to 35+ knots , casting no doubt in most viewers eyes that they truly are the future of the sport.

Covering 3 continents over a 4 year period, the film introduces you to the extraordinary beauty, dedicated crews and unmatched skills shown in the true formula one of the Sailing world.

Franklin Tulloch is a visual storyteller at heart, considering all options in shooting, editing and effects for every project he has the opportunity to work on. He has directed numerous projects including short/long format Documentaries, music videos, feature and short films, Theater and Industrial videos. "I have spent most of my life behind the lens or in the editing bay."

After spending a few years at 525 post (Virgin Int) in Hollywood, CA. training in Avid editing, and studying some of the top directors in the world including Gore Verbinski, Spike Jonze, Sam Bayer, Dayton/Ferris along with many more, he decided to take his Camera and editing skills and put them to work out in the industry.

Currently he is Directing/Editing two Documentaries and is currently finishing the upcoming full length Documentary SKIFF 18, which should be premiering this Summer 2010.
