Earthbound Studios Music and Comedy

Earthbound Studios has been filming live music and comedy for over a decade. We also work with some incredibly original composers for any range of projects. We are currently working with Sublime Bassist Eric Wilson and some sublime tracks for our up coming documentary, along with Australian Artist Joshua Rawiri. Our love of music spans the globe and it shows in the unique shooting and cutting styles we use. Taking the beats as a outline for the story.

After playing the Saxophone in his youth, Franklin would spend his HS years doing Drum tech for major hardcore bands out of the DC/Va/Md area. This would be just the beginning of his relationship with the music industry, spending college as a Radio DJ (U92) and filming over 50 live shows, many included now in the Mississippi Blues Archives @ Ole Miss, including BB King. Along with being a lifelong Hip Hop fan from the beginnings with Africa Bambatta and Soul Sonic Force through today's hot stars like Common and Jurassic 5, just to name a few, He spent time during college seeing shows through out the south, including the Radiators, Widespread Panic, Dave Mathews, Phish, the Dead, and many more.

His passion for music is impossible to hide, and all the years of experience make him a top choice when looking to promote your band through film, or in incorporating the correct music into your project as a consultant.
