Transpac/Big Boat Series Transpac Ocean Race 2007 The 2007 Transpac would be a strange event. With all the hoopla surrounding the Disney Film and the new "Improved" Pyewacket, The event itself would be one of the slowest in history. With predictions that the Elapsed time record would be destroyed, Mother Nature had her own ideas, and would determine this would not be the year of the disney boats. With more than enough controversy surrounding the 90 footer loop hole, along with some shady Board voting in Hawaii, The Young team from Out on the Edge would become the youngest team in the history of Transpac to finish, and Reinrag2, with its family crew, would beat out the big professionally filled boats easily. Congrats to Magnitude 80 for a wonderful race in the "Big Boys" Class, and to Pegasus Racing for one hell of a run in the double handed Class.
