E. Franklin Tulloch – Director/DOP

With over three decades of professional experience behind the lens, E. Franklin Tulloch has built a career rooted in visual storytelling. A graduate of Ole Miss with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and English (’94), Franklin began his journey by filming blues artists for the Mississippi Blues Archives, working as a radio DJ at U92, and capturing commercial fashion photography for Ole Miss/Oxford women’s fashion. He was also instrumental in pioneering advanced coursework for long-format film studies at Ole Miss.

In 1994, Franklin moved to Los Angeles, immersing himself in the emerging digital age. Collaborating with top editors and the NAB, he helped test groundbreaking DV and later HD camera technology, including camera setups for Panavision Gold and Platinum packages. His expertise expanded at the renowned 525 Post Production in Hollywood, where he trained in Avid editing and post-production supervision. He also contributed to ICU-ART, a graffiti art collective dedicated to LA and SF street artists, serving as a content gatherer and assistant producer.

Since founding Earthbound Studios in 1998, Franklin has worked across a diverse range of projects, including:
